One good book club leads to another

Turn your fun into fundraising and help us kick start the next chapter for young people in schools.

If you’re in a book club you’ll know how much fun you have getting stuck into a good read with your friends. Keeping it going over Zoom has probably also helped keep you sane during lockdown.

So, what if you could help give young people in schools the same chance to fall in love with reading?

Turn your next Book Club meet up into a fundraising event for BCiS and you could do just that.

It can be as simple as using one of your meet ups to share the work BCiS does. Or perhaps you could choose one of our suggested books and use the pre-prepared questions to spark discussion and debate with your friends. Either way you will be raising funds to support us.

Our patron Alex Wheatle MBE writes both adult and young adult books and there is a suggestion in the pack for one of his books, Cane Warriors.

Register today, download a fundraising pack and start helping young people develop and build character through reading for pleasure.
